About EP Red
The range most of our customers run
EP Red is EP Equipment's main product line. EP sorts its trucks into three ranges, and Red is where you'll find most of them: counterbalance forklifts, pallet trucks, stackers, reach trucks, order pickers and tow tractors, in the widest choice of capacities, masts and batteries.
EP says its line-up covers everything from occasional use to multi-shift work in warehouses and distribution centres. Red sits in the middle of that: better specified than the value-focused EP Green range, and more affordable than the top-spec EP Pro range.

Choosing a version
Same forklift, different battery
Many EP Red forklifts come in more than one version at the same capacity. On the spec sheet the biggest difference is usually battery size: a bigger battery runs longer between charges, so it suits longer shifts and heavier use.
Tell us how many hours your truck works and how often it can charge on breaks, and we'll pick the version that does the job without paying for battery you won't use.

Questions about EP Red
What is the EP Red range?
What is the difference between EP Red, Green and Pro?
They are EP's three ranges. Green is the value range: simpler, lower-cost trucks for lighter work. Red is the core range, with the widest choice of models and options. Pro is the premium range, for intensive, heavy or high-lift work, including high-voltage forklifts up to 25 tonnes.
Are EP Red trucks painted red?
No. Red, Green and Pro are EP's range names, not paint colours. Most EP trucks wear EP's red and black livery whichever range they belong to, and Pro trucks carry a PRO badge.
What do the S and P versions of EP forklifts mean?
On models like the EFL253, EFL303 and EFL353, the standard, S and P versions share the same capacity. On the spec sheet the main difference is battery size, with the P versions carrying the biggest batteries. Each model page lists the full specs, and we can help you pick the right one for your hours.
Can I hire an EP Red truck?
Yes. Every EP Red model is available on contract hire from 12 months, with servicing, repairs and thorough examinations included in one monthly payment. We don't do short-term hire.
