Features

What makes the JX1 work

The JX1 takes picking higher than the compact JX0. Here's how it's built for mid-level racking.

Three mast heights

Choose a platform height of 3,200, 4,100 or 4,880 mm to match your racking. The tallest gives a picking height of about 6.3 m.

Compact chassis

It's 800 to 876 mm wide depending on the mast, and turns in 1,385 mm on the two lower masts and 1,450 mm on the tallest. That keeps it at home in narrow aisles.

AC drive

A 1.6 kW AC drive motor and electronic steering give smooth, precise control. It travels at 5.5 km/h laden or empty.

Maintenance-free battery

A 24V 224Ah maintenance-free battery comes as standard. EP also offers larger batteries, a lithium-ion upgrade and battery exchange systems for continuous work.

Confidence at height

Electromagnetic brakes and a clear view past the mast help operators feel secure when picking up high. Ergonomic controls cut fatigue over a shift.

Smooth lifting

The platform lifts at 0.17 m/s laden from a 2.2 kW lift motor and lowers at 0.35 m/s. Fast enough for steady picking without jolting the operator.

Questions about the JX1

Which mast height do I need?

The platform rises to 3,200, 4,100 or 4,880 mm. As a rule the operator picks comfortably a little above platform height, so the tallest mast reaches about 6.3 m. Tell us your top shelf height and we'll match the mast.

How is the JX1 different from the JX0?

The JX1 lifts the operator higher, up to 4.88 m against 3.0 m on the JX0, and has a larger 224Ah battery and AC drive. The JX0 is narrower at 750 mm and turns tighter, in 1,260 mm.

How is it different from the JX2 range?

The JX2 models lift a pallet and the operator together, rated at 700 kg or 1,000 kg. The JX1 is aimed at picking cartons and items at height. See the JX2-4 for heavier pallet picking.

What battery options are there?

A 24V 224Ah maintenance-free battery is standard. EP also offers larger batteries, lithium-ion and battery exchange systems for multi-shift work. We'll recommend one from your shift pattern.

What aisle width does it suit?

It's 800 mm wide on the middle mast (823 and 876 mm on the others) and turns in 1,385 to 1,450 mm. Send us your layout and we'll check it.

Can I hire the JX1?

Yes, on contract hire from 12 months, with servicing and repairs included in one fixed monthly payment. We don't offer short-term hire. See forklift hire.

How much does the JX1 cost?
