What makes the QDD301T work
The QDD301T is a sit-down tractor built for longer runs than a stand-on tug. Here's what it brings.
Quick between buildings
It travels at 7 km/h laden and 17 km/h empty, so return runs are fast. A 4 kW maintenance-free AC motor drives it through a vertical gearbox.
3,000 kg towing
Rated drawbar pull is 750 N with a maximum of 3,000 N. It climbs 7% laden and 25% empty.
Built for varied ground
Large 4.00-8 solid rubber tyres, 150 mm of ground clearance and a low centre of gravity keep it stable on smooth and rough surfaces. A heavy-duty frame takes the knocks.
Seated comfort
Generous legroom, lowered pedals and an adjustable steering column suit long shifts. It runs at 70 dB(A) at the seat.
Cabin options
Choose a semi- or fully enclosed cabin for outdoor work in Irish weather. LED lighting, telematics and extra safety equipment are also available.
Easy daily checks
The 48V 240Ah battery comes out from the side and a one-piece hood lifts for access. Coupling heights of 244, 312 and 379 mm suit most trailers.

How is the QDD301T different from the QDD601T?
The QDD301T tows 3,000 kg with a 4 kW motor and 3,000 N maximum pull, on a 48V 240Ah battery. The QDD601T tows 6,000 kg with a 6 kW motor, 4,500 N maximum pull and a 48V 275Ah battery. The QDD301T has mechanical steering; the QDD601T electronic.
Can it work outdoors?
Yes. Solid rubber tyres, 150 mm of ground clearance and a low centre of gravity suit yards and rougher surfaces, and EP offers semi- and fully enclosed cabins for bad weather.
Can it handle ramps?
It's rated for 7% laden and 25% unladen. Tell us the gradient and length of any ramps on your route and we'll confirm.
What battery does it use?
A 48V 240Ah battery that removes from the side. EP also offers lithium-ion as an option.
When is a stand-on tractor a better fit?
For short indoor routes with tight turns and frequent stops, the stand-on QDD30S turns in 1,168 mm against 1,780 mm here.
Can I hire the QDD301T?
