What makes the EFL203 work
The EFL203 is the standard version of EP's 2 tonne indoor and outdoor truck. Here's what it offers on site.
Off the concrete with ease
Large pneumatic tyres and 150 mm of clearance under the wheelbase take it over potholes, kerbs and gravel. The construction is waterproof, so rain does not stop work.
Efficient PMSM motors
A 10 kW drive motor and 16 kW lift motor, both permanent-magnet, give 15 km/h unladen and 15% gradeability with a load. EP measures 6.2 kWh/h on the DIN EN 16796 test cycle.
Charge it your way
Use the built-in single-phase charger from a normal supply, or the external port for a larger charger. Lithium is happy with top-ups in breaks.
Bigger battery option
The standard 80V, 230Ah battery can be upgraded to 460Ah. That suits multi-shift sites that want to keep one truck running.
Clear view, neat layout
A streamlined counterweight, redesigned mast, tidy hose routing and a bolted overhead guard all help visibility. A large LED display and bright LED lights complete the package.
Comfortable cab
An adjustable steering wheel and suspension seat with armrest make long shifts easier. Noise at the seat stays under 74 dB(A).

Questions about the EFL203
Can the EFL203 work outside?
Yes. Pneumatic tyres, 150 mm of ground clearance and waterproof construction suit uneven and wet yards, loading zones and ramps.
What is the difference between the EFL203 and EFL203P?
They share the same chassis, battery and dimensions. The EFL203P has stronger motors, giving 20 km/h against 15 km/h unladen, 0.54 m/s lifting against 0.36 m/s, and 28% gradeability against 20%.
Which battery should I choose?
The 80V, 230Ah battery suits most single shifts with top-up charging. The optional 460Ah battery is for long or multi-shift work. Tell us your shift pattern and we will advise.
How is it different from the EFL183?
The EFL203 lifts 2,000 kg against 1,800 kg, has more ground clearance at 150 mm against 119 mm, and has a larger battery option. The EFL183 is more compact and turns in 1,895 mm against 2,110 mm.
Can it replace my diesel forklift?
For loads up to 2 t and lifts up to 6 m, usually yes, and it can work indoors with no exhaust. Send us your loads and ground conditions and we will confirm.
Can I hire the EFL203?
Yes, on contract hire from 12 months, with servicing and repairs included in one fixed monthly payment. We don't offer short-term hire. See forklift hire.
How much does the EFL203 cost?
