What makes the QDD30S work
The QDD30S is the lighter of EP's two stand-on tractors. Here's what it does for internal transport.
AC drive
A 2.5 kW maintenance-free AC motor gives strong pull and quick acceleration, through a durable vertical gearbox. There are no motor brushes to replace.
3,000 kg towing
It tows up to 3,000 kg with a maximum drawbar pull of 2,000 N. It travels at 5 km/h laden and 7 km/h empty.
Small turning circle
A 975 mm wheelbase and 1,168 mm turning radius let it work in tight spaces. It's 1,282 mm long and 800 mm wide.
Four coupling heights
The coupling sets at 188, 233, 277 or 322 mm to match your trolleys and carts. That saves adapting your existing fleet.
Safe stand-on operation
Electronic steering, anti-rollback and automatic braking when the operator steps off make it safe for frequent stops. The ergonomic tiller head keeps controls to hand.
Side battery access
The battery comes out from the side for quick swaps on multi-shift sites. Choose 280Ah or a larger 360Ah pack.

Questions about the QDD30S
How is the QDD30S different from the QDD45S?
The QDD30S tows 3,000 kg with 2,000 N of maximum pull. The QDD45S tows 4,500 kg with 2,600 N, and comes with a larger 360Ah battery. Size, turning radius and speeds are the same.
Which battery do I need?
The 24V 280Ah lead-acid battery suits regular single shifts. The 360Ah option suits longer routes or busier days. Tell us your routes and we'll recommend one.
Can it handle slopes?
It's rated for 3% laden and 15% unladen, so loaded trains should run on level floors or gentle slopes.
Will it couple to my existing carts?
The coupling adjusts to 188, 233, 277 or 322 mm. Send us your trolley coupling height and we'll confirm.
When should I choose a seated tractor?
For long distances, outdoor routes or rough ground, the seated QDD301T has solid tyres, 150 mm ground clearance and travels at 17 km/h unladen.
Can I hire the QDD30S?
Yes, on contract hire from 12 months, with servicing and repairs included in one fixed monthly payment. We don't offer short-term hire. See forklift hire.
How much does the QDD30S cost?
It depends on the mast, battery and options you need. Ask for a price and we'll quote it to buy outright, on finance or on contract hire.
