Features
What makes the QDD10 work
The QDD10 is about as small as a powered tug gets. Here's what it does for anyone pushing heavy carts by hand.
Light and compact
At 98 kg and 520 mm wide, with a 315 mm wheelbase, it goes where a pallet truck can't. It's easy to park out of the way at the end of the day.
Pulls 1,000 kg
It tows up to 1,000 kg with a maximum drawbar pull of 650 N. A differential drive helps it hold its line in narrow corridors.
Grippy tyres
Two 250 mm pneumatic drive tyres give traction on smooth floors and minor bumps. It travels at 4.5 km/h laden and 5 km/h empty.
Adjustable tiller
The tiller adjusts in height, with the handle at 835, 930 or 1,010 mm, to suit different operators. Steering is mechanical and the brake electromagnetic.
Simple charging
Two 12V 50Ah batteries give a 24V supply, charged by a built-in charger from an ordinary socket. An optional battery indicator with hour meter shows charge and use.
Simple to own
A small 0.4 kW DC drive motor, mechanical steering and an electromagnetic brake keep the design simple. Our engineers support it from Navan and Portadown.

Questions about the QDD10
How is the QDD10 different from the QDD10L?
Both tow 1,000 kg with 650 N of pull. The QDD10 runs on two 12V 50Ah batteries (38 kg in total) and weighs 98 kg. The QDD10L uses a 5.8 kg, 24V 20Ah lithium-ion battery that can be topped up quickly, with an optional external charger.
What can it tow?
Wheeled carts, roll cages and platform trolleys up to 1,000 kg in total. It's built for short, frequent moves rather than long tow trains.
Can it handle slopes?
It's rated for 3% laden and 16% unladen. Keep loaded runs on level floors or very gentle slopes.
How is it charged?
A built-in charger plugs into a standard socket, so there's no charging station to install.
When should I step up to a bigger tractor?
If you tow more than 1,000 kg or cover long distances, a stand-on tractor makes more sense. The QDD30S tows 3,000 kg.
Can I hire the QDD10?
Yes, on contract hire from 12 months, with servicing and repairs included in one fixed monthly payment. We don't offer short-term hire. See forklift hire.
How much does the QDD10 cost?
It depends on the mast, battery and options you need. Ask for a price and we'll quote it to buy outright, on finance or on contract hire.
