EP forklifts, pallet trucks and stackers for food producers, drinks companies and distributors, north and south. No fumes near food, quiet in the early hours, and easy to keep clean.
The price is on every truck we have in stock.
Pick a job to see where it happens on a typical food site and the EP truck we'd usually suggest, with the price if we have one in stock. We confirm every choice on a site survey.
Every food site is different, but the same five problems come up on almost every survey we do.
Diesel and gas trucks put exhaust into production areas, which auditors and customers don't want to see.
Our answer: electric only. EP trucks have no exhaust, so they can work beside open product.
Loading bays, dairies and processing halls are wet.
Our answer: IPX4-rated trucks such as the CPD15L1, CPD20L1, EFL25-PRO and EFL30-PRO handle splashes and wet bays.
Lead-acid batteries need watering, a vented charging room and spill kits.
Our answer: lithium-ion has no acid and no gassing. Charge where the truck works and free up the battery room.
Bakeries, dairies and distributors run early, late and at weekends. A flat battery stops the line.
Our answer: lithium can be topped up on breaks, so one battery usually covers a full shift.
Ingredient stores, crate rooms and dispatch areas are cramped and packed.
Our answer: compact 3-wheel forklifts and walk-behind stackers turn in tight spaces and stack crates high.
We'll visit, measure your aisles, doors and loads, and recommend the right trucks in writing. Free if you run five or more trucks.

"The service that we have received from Clearlift from day one has been excellent. We were advised on which forklift would be best suited for our application. The EP Forklifts that Clearlift have supplied us with are reliable and efficient."
"During the recent renewal process for our fleet of trucks Clearlift listened to what we required, got an understanding of our daily operation by carrying out a full site survey and responded in a professional fashion with a very competitive proposal."

The trip from the end of the line to dispatch happens hundreds of times a day. At Brennans Bread an EP X-Mover moves bread trolleys on its own, working around the team. Automatic pallet trucks start from €12,000 ex VAT, or €450 a month on contract hire.
The truck is part of your food safety system. Here's how EP electric trucks fit the rules food sites work under.
Food businesses must run a food safety system based on HACCP principles (Regulation (EC) 852/2004). Electric trucks take exhaust, fuel and battery acid out of the hazards near food.
Running diesel or gas trucks indoors means managing exhaust fumes and ventilation for your staff. Electric trucks avoid the problem altogether.
Forklifts need a thorough examination at least every 12 months, or every 6 months if used to lift people (S.I. 299/2007). Our engineers carry out and certify these GA1 examinations.
LOLER (NI) 1999 sets the same intervals. Our Portadown engineers carry out LOLER examinations across all six counties.

Several can. The CPD15L1, CPD20L1, EFL25-PRO and EFL30-PRO are IPX4 rated against splashes. We'll match the truck to how wet your site gets on the survey.
Usually, yes. Lithium-ion batteries can be topped up on breaks without harm, so most single-shift and many double-shift sites run on one battery. We size it on the survey.
