What the XP15 does
The XP15 is the truck most of our automation customers start with. It is a 1,500 kg EP pallet truck fitted with EP's X-Mover kit, so it can run fixed pallet routes on its own and switch back to manual at the touch of a button.
It finds its way using small reflectors fitted to your roof, which EP calls star guidance. Nothing goes on the floor and nothing has to be connected to your IT. Typical jobs are goods-in to storage, feeding production lines, taking pallets from the wrapper to dispatch, and moving waste and empties.

These aren't factory videos. Both clips were filmed in 2026 on customer sites where EP X-Mover automated pallet trucks from Clearlift are at work.

Jobs the XP15 does
- Goods in to storage: Inbound pallets taken from the dock to staging, block stacks or racking.
- Production line feeding: Raw materials and parts delivered to the line, and flow between work cells.
- End of line: Finished pallets from the palletiser, wrapper, roller bed or sorter to the warehouse.
- Dispatch & cross-docking: Pallets from storage or the line to outbound lanes and loading bays.
- Waste & empty pallets: Empty pallets, packaging and waste cages taken away all shift.

Ask about my routeKey features
Sushi bar, bus stop or taxi
Run a continuous loop, stop at set points, or send the truck to one destination on demand. EP says these three task modes cover most pallet transport jobs.
Keypad for many tasks
An optional keypad on the truck lets operators pick from multiple stored destinations without a phone or app.
Call boxes
A wireless button at a workstation calls the truck when a pallet is ready, like ringing for a lift.
Column loading
Drops pallets in rows in a staging area or block stack, so floor space is used properly.
Talks to doors and lifts
Machine-to-machine signals let it open fast doors and use goods lifts between floors.
Battery swap in seconds
Pull the battery, plug in a spare and keep going. With a second battery it can run around the clock.
From first call to robot running in about four weeks
Most of our deployments go live in around four weeks. A standard one-task set-up is installed, programmed, tested and handed over in one day, with minimal downtime for your team.

XP15 questions
How does the XP15 navigate?
It uses EP's 2D star guidance: reflectors fixed to your roof or ceiling act as reference points. There's no floor tape, magnets or QR codes, and the layout can be changed by re-teaching the route.
Can people and forklifts work around the XP15?
Yes. It is designed for mixed traffic, with laser scanners that slow and stop it for people, trucks and obstacles. It drives more steadily than a person and never takes a short cut.
How long does an XP15 installation take?
A standard one-task set-up is installed, programmed, tested and handed over in a day. Sites with several tasks, special loads or door and lift links take longer, and we agree the plan at the site survey.
Can the XP15 work outdoors?
Yes. It can drive between buildings and across yards, as EP customers do for hall-to-hall transport. We check your surface and slopes at the site survey.
Is the XP15 running anywhere in Ireland?
Yes. Our clips from Mannok and Brennans Bread on this page show EP X-Mover automated pallet trucks from Clearlift at work, and you can see one in our Navan demo warehouse.
