What the EXP15 does

The EXP15 is a normal EP electric pallet truck with an automation kit built in. Walk it round a route once, press a button, and it repeats that route on its own. When you need it for something else, an operator takes the tiller and drives it like any pallet truck.

It's built for the simple A-to-B runs that eat time every shift: empties back to the stack, pallets from goods-in to a staging lane, finished goods to the wrapper. EP's own line on it is "five buttons, five minutes to set up", and it won the IFOY Award 2025 in the warehouse truck category.

X-Mover trucks at work in Ireland

These aren't factory videos. Both clips were filmed in 2026 on customer sites where EP X-Mover automated pallet trucks from Clearlift are at work.

Key features

Teach it by walking it

Drive the route once in teach mode, mark the stops, and it remembers it. Up to 10 routes are stored on the truck.

No IT project

It runs stand-alone. No Wi-Fi, no server, no warehouse software and no reflectors to fit.

Still a pallet truck

Press the tiller and it drives manually, so it is never a machine that only does one job.

Safety scanners

Front sensors slow and stop the truck for people, forklifts and obstacles in its path.

Plug-in battery

Charge from a normal socket at the end of the shift or during breaks.

Room to grow

When one route works, add a second truck or step up to the XP15 for keypads, call boxes and longer routes.

How a project works

From first call to robot running in about four weeks

Most of our deployments go live in around four weeks. A standard one-task set-up is installed, programmed, tested and handed over in one day, with minimal downtime for your team.

  1. Day 1

    Call & demo

A 15-minute call about your routes, then a demo in our Navan automation centre if you want one.

  2. Week 1

    Site survey

We walk your site, or you send a walkthrough video and a few drawings. We map the routes worth automating.

  3. Week 1-2

    Scope & proof

We agree the task, the success measures and a proof of concept, and fix your install date within 48 hours of the go-ahead.

  4. Week 2-3

    Delivery from stock

Your EP robot ships from European stock and arrives in about a week.

  5. Week 3-4

    Install & support

Installed, programmed, tested and your team trained in a day. Then Clearlift support, and more routes when you want them.

EXP15 questions

How long does the EXP15 take to set up?

A simple loop can be taught in minutes once the truck is on site. We install it, teach the first routes with your team and show your key users how to add or change routes themselves.

Does the EXP15 need Wi-Fi or warehouse software?

No. Routes are stored on the truck, so it runs without Wi-Fi, a server or a WMS connection.

What is the difference between the EXP15 and the XP15?

The EXP15 is the entry model: teach-in routes with five buttons for simple loops. The XP15 navigates by markers on your ceiling, handles more routes, and takes options like a keypad, call boxes, column loading and talking to doors and lifts.

Can I see the EXP15 working before I buy?

Yes. It runs in our automation demo warehouse in Navan, Co. Meath. Book a demo and bring your own pallet if you want to see it on your load.
