What makes the RSC101 work

The RSC101 is a 48V counterbalance stacker with mast tilt and adjustable forks, so it suits odd loads as well as pallets. Here's how it is set up.

Any pallet, no legs

As a counterbalance stacker, the RSC101 has nothing under or beside the load. It handles closed-bottom pallets, open pallets and loose loads with the same forks.

Fine mast tilt

The mast tilts 3° forward and 6° back with sensitive control. Tilting back steadies the load on the move, and small forward adjustments help you set it down square.

Forks that adjust

The forks slide along an 850 mm carriage and can be set anywhere from 200 to 810 mm apart. That covers narrow cages, standard pallets and wider loads without changing forks.

Fold-down pedal

Fold the pedal down to ride on longer trips, or fold it up and walk the truck through tight aisles. It travels at 4.5 km/h laden and 5.0 km/h unladen.

Clearance for docks and ramps

With 100 mm of ground clearance under the wheelbase and 80 mm under the mast, it copes with dock levellers, small ramps and uneven floors. EP rates it at 5% gradeability laden.

48V AGM power

A 48V 85Ah AGM battery, weighing 96 kg, runs the 1.8 kW drive and 2.2 kW lift motors. AGM batteries are sealed, so there is no watering, and the charger is rated at 10 A.

Questions about the RSC101

How is the RSC101 different from the RSC122?

The RSC101 runs on a 48V 85Ah AGM battery rather than 24V 210Ah, tilts its mast 3° forward and 6° back (against 3° each way), and has forks that adjust from 200 to 810 mm. It is rated 1,000 kg against 1,200 kg, both at a 500 mm load centre, and uses a fold-down pedal instead of a platform. See the RSC122.

Can it lift closed-bottom pallets?

Yes. It has no straddle legs or load wheels under the forks, so it can enter closed-bottom and perimeter-base pallets as well as standard Euro and UK pallets.

How much room does it need to turn?

EP lists two turning radii, 1,338 mm and 1,732 mm, and two overall lengths, 2,552 mm and 2,955 mm, depending on how the truck is configured. Send us your aisle widths and we'll check the fit.

Can it cross dock levellers?

It has 100 mm of ground clearance under the wheelbase and 80 mm under the mast, which helps over dock levellers and uneven floors. EP rates it at 5% gradeability laden and 8% unladen, so keep to gentle slopes.

Is there a lithium-ion option?

EP lists the RSC101 with a 48V 85Ah AGM battery only. If you want lithium-ion, the RSC122 is offered with lead-acid or Li-ion.

Can I hire the RSC101?
