EP Equipment in Dublin

Electric forklifts and warehouse equipment for Dublin

Dublin moves more freight than anywhere else in Ireland. Dublin Port alone handles almost half of the country's port tonnage, and most of it ends up in warehouses along the M50, in Ballymount, Ballycoolin, Citywest and Grange Castle.

We supply those sites with EP electric forklifts, pallet trucks, stackers, reach trucks and order pickers, to buy or on contract hire. Our engineers are based in Dublin, so planned servicing, GA1 thorough examinations and breakdown repairs don't wait on a long drive.

  • Buy new, or contract hire from 12 months
  • GA1 thorough examinations and servicing by our own engineers
  • Quotes in euro
  • Same-day breakdown response target

What Dublin makes and moves

The sectors that keep pallets moving in and around Dublin, and the kind of equipment that suits them.

Ports and freight

Dublin Port handled 36.0 million gross tonnes, 944,102 RoRo units and 956,864 TEU of containers in 2025, and carries about 47% of all Irish port tonnage.

Retail distribution

Tesco Ireland's Donabate distribution centre near the M1 has storage for 76,000 pallets and handles up to 1.5 million cases a week for its Irish stores.

Pharma and biopharma

Pfizer and Takeda both operate manufacturing facilities at Grange Castle Business Park in Dublin 22.

Logistics and warehousing

New large-scale logistics schemes such as Mountpark Grange Castle West on the Nangor Road are being let to occupiers in west Dublin.

What works on Dublin sites

  • High-throughput 3PL and port-side warehouses around the M50 and Dublin Port run multi-shift operations where lithium-ion trucks can be opportunity-charged in breaks instead of swapping lead-acid batteries.
  • Grocery and retail distribution centres in north and west Dublin need fleets of electric pallet trucks and order pickers for case picking and dock loading.
  • Pharma sites such as those at Grange Castle need zero-emission electric trucks for indoor and controlled-environment handling.
  • Smaller trade counters and units in older estates like Ballymount have tight aisles and low headroom suited to compact electric stackers and pallet trucks.
Forklift hire

Forklift hire in Dublin

Contract hire spreads the cost of a new EP truck over a fixed term from 12 months. Servicing, repairs and GA1 thorough examinations are included in one monthly payment, so there are no surprise bills.

We don't do short-term or weekly hire. For a few days' cover, a local plant hire firm is the better fit.
