With the WPL 201 EP introduces the worlds first purpose-built Li-Ion electric pallet truck with 2 ton capacity. With a length of only 423 mm, it is by far the shortest 2 tonne pallet truck in the world, optimised for use in narrow aisles and on tail lifts. Thanks to its Plug & Play components, it also sets a benchmark in terms of serviceability and total cost of ownership. Combined with a 48V brushless DC motor, it is the perfect tool for your warehouse and loading and unloading of HGVs.
The WPL 201 Lithium Ion pallet truck is a high-performance electric pallet truck designed to meet the needs of warehouses around the world. Due to its 48V brushless DC motor, it can be used in the delivery application where gradeability and ground clearance are required (without support wheels). At the same time, it is the perfect truck for loading and unloading in distribution centers as well as in warehouses. It can be equipped with optional support wheels for maximum stability.
The WPL 201 has many great features, but one feature stands out: Plug & Play components. To reduce the service cost of the truck it is equipped with several Plug&Play components which can be exchanged without an expensive service call out. The Li-Ion Battery, the Controller unit as well as the tiller head can be exchanged single handed and reduce the TCO costs of the truck significantly.
The WPL 201 electric pallet truck comes with a purpose build 48V Li-Ion battery. The Battery can be exchanged single-handed to be replaced with a new battery for multi-shift operation. It is also equipped with an LED light to help visibility in dark corners when picking up a pallet. The truck is available with external and integrated charger.
EP's new Li-Ion pallet truck comes with a brand new tiller head. Designed to be more ergonomic and give additional features to the user, EP equipped the tiller head with a full-colour display and the possibility to show not only the state of charge but also additional information about the truck, potential error codes and driving parameters on the display.
The brushless DC Curtis controller of the WPL 201 is a real revolution. Due to the Plug & Play concept, the controller can be exchanged single handed in case of damage. This reduces potential downtime significantly and in case of fleets can also make the error search very quick and easy even for an untrained user.
